For some reason, the words ‘lake’ and ‘cottage’ can trigger nostalgia and the desire to recapture romantic time with your loved one or create sweet family memories that will last a lifetime.  So it is that the cozy Lakeside Cottage in the North Georgia Mountains is everything you’d imagine and inspires all that you’d want your lake vacation to be.

This cottage is on the shores of Lake Nottely and is ideal for a family or a few couples.  Its charming and classic log-style façade welcomes you in to a homey interior filled with oversized, quality furnishings.  The comforts extend out to the huge covered deck with overhead ceiling fans to keep you cool on that warm summer afternoon.  This spot has a large dining table with chairs from where you can enjoy the lake views and watch the kids run around on the shore and splash in the water. During the wintertime, you can make the most of plentiful fishing in year-long deep water as just a few steps away is the home’s private boat dock (12x12 foot boat dock with four kleats).

Back inside, the kitchen is equipped with new, upscale appliances, breakfast bar and dining table so you can grab a quick meal in style, but hurry back down to the water for just a little more lakeside fun before the sun goes down.  Once night befalls, curl up fireside for an evening of entertainment and good conversation over the movies you’ve watched on the TVs on the main and lower level.  Or, head downstairs to another plush living area that offers a regulation size billiards and air hockey tables.  A 70-jet hot tub is located just outside for a final relaxing soak and chatter with your pals.  Prefer a more private experience?  Retreat to the luxurious bedrooms, each with a king sized bed, its own TV and DVD player.
