Appalachian View Lodge is everything that you would expect from your mountain vacation home and has a name that perfectly reflects its wonderful setting. This rustic, but well built all-wood, tongue-and-groove home puts relaxation in easy-going reach. Whether it’s the lovely year-round, short-range mountain views to the level drive and accessible front entry that welcomes you, Appalachian View is an effortless and happy abode. The home is part of an easily-maneuverable paved neighborhood but is located in a private setting so neighbors aren’t noticed.
Appalachian View is perfect for friends or couples as there are two master suites, each with their own private bathroom. This uncluttered home is also a great place to truly kick-back with the kids – two or four-legged alike. The comfortable, no-fuss furnishings invite casual calm and the floor plan makes the most of the home’s wrap-around decks. The decks are gated in dog-friendly consideration, and plenty of picnic style seating, rocking chairs, and a six-person hot tub make for a wonderful extension of the home and invites outdoor living. The home also offers a well-equipped kitchen, stainless steel barbecue grill and a recently and beautifully-built outside fire pit, all of which will warm you inside and out.
Back indoors, Appalachian View lodge offers plenty to keep you entertained with two satellite TVs with their own control box on both the main and game room, a regulation size air hockey table, foosball table, Play Station II and plenty of board games. When it’s time to retreat, there is nothing rustic about the home’s comfortable bedrooms and full bathrooms on every level. There are three bedrooms all with wonderful views, one of which has a King-sized bed, another with a Queen-sized bed and the last with two twin beds. Additionally, there is a full-sized futon in the loft area which overlooks the cozy family room. All of the beds are outfitted with fine linens and plush quilts or comforters.
Appalachian View and its casual comfort will welcome you to the heart of Blue Ridge time after time.
