Long Mountain Lodge

As many know, the town of Blue Ridge reflects the special style conducive to our part of the North Georgia mountains.  Its streets are filled with charming restaurants, galleries and shops that have panache, but are also unpretentious.  All at once, Blue Ridge exudes an upscale character with down-home hospitality.  So it follows  that a very short distance from town, Long Mountain Lodge awaits you in perfect parallel.  This North Georgia cabin rental is an enticing balance of comfort and luxury which fulfills your expectations for the ideal mountain vacation getaway.

Long Mountain Lodge overlooks Long Mountain, as well as the entire Aska Adventure area. This Canadian log home with unique bark siding, sits at the top of a steep paved driveway in proud reverence of its fabulous mountain-top location.  From the entryway, the home presents itself through an expansively open living area with towering vaulted ceilings and log beams.  Your eyes sweep effortlessly forward from the kitchen, to the dining and great room, to the magnificent windows and vistas ahead.  The gourmet kitchen features top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and beautiful cabinetry finished with rich granite counter tops.  The two-story stone fireplace is double-sided, and again reflects a double-duty design achievement that marries ‘snug’ with ‘sophistication.’

This beautiful double-sided fireplace is also carried through on the lower level where you will find an impressive game room with another kitchen.  No need to haul anything down from upstairs because the full kitchen and bar provide every amenity in easy reach.  This is particularly convenient as you will be very busy playing at the regulation billiards table, foosball, air hockey or card table.  The entire downstairs is wired for sound and includes two large flatscreen TVs that can even be viewed from the deck and hot tub just outside.  

With all of the in-town and in-home activity available, Long Mountain Lodge has also been thoughtfully designed for the best “vacation-deep” rests.  A great multi-family home, the cabin sleeps up to twelve with plush queen beds in each of its three bedrooms.  There are three high-end bathrooms with double sinks, hot water on demand, granite counters and old fashion Western tub.  The home also offers a queen sleeper sofa, bunk bed in one of the bedrooms and three full-sized futons.  Each private bedroom has wonderful views out of expansive windows dressed smartly in custom draperies.  The master has a large curved palladium window set off beautifully by the peaks and pitches of the room’s vaulted ceiling.
