You will truly feel like you're experiencing the 'Peak of Perfection' in this impeccable home. Located at the top of a peak, this warmly decorated and recently upgraded cabin faces west, with stunning views of the sunset.
Peak of Perfection was designed for guests to enjoy the best of both worlds: While conveniently located only minutes away from Blue Ridge's quaint downtown, you'll relish the atmosphere of a peaceful and secluded mountain lodge that provides plenty of leisure activities within its own four walls.
This rare five-bedroom is artfully decorated in a rustic lodge style with its own unique Native American and western themes. You'll admire thoughtful accents throughout, from the Navajo blanket adorning the picture window wall to the woodsy-themed flatware, to the dreamcatcher over your bed.
Choose your own form of relaxation — Peak of Perfection's two large living areas allow everyone ample room to pursue their pleasures. Sports fans can congregate downstairs to play a rousing game of pool while watching ESPN, while others can take it easy upstairs listening to music, reading, or simply lounging on one of the generous porches, taking in the beautiful mountain views that go on for miles. Slip into the hot tub and feel your cares float away while watching the kids have a ball on the swing set or playing Frisbee in the spacious yard. When they're ready to settle down inside, there are DVDs to watch, a 40+ game arcade machine, and plenty of board games, cards and puzzles. The covered, outdoor wood-burning fireplace is ideal for either curling up with a book by day or marshmallow roasting and conversation at night.
When you're ready to venture out, the road to Peak of Perfection is paved and turns to gravel only as the road levels out, making for a smooth and easy trip. Since you're only minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Mercier Orchards, head to First Street for a gourmet Panini at Angelina's followed by boutique shopping, taking the kids for a train ride, and then stopping by Mercier's for a fried apple pie on the way back to the ranch. After watching a movie or playing games together, enjoy a nice glass of wine on the deck while grilling out and witnessing a spectacular sunset. With the large table and generous seating available on the deck, dining al fresco is the perfect way to commune with friends, family and nature.
Conclude the day in one of the five king or queen bedrooms that have been dressed in luxurious linens and their own unique western motifs, from Native American symbols and feather accents to cowboys riding off into the sunset as you drift off to sleep. In the master suite, you can relax in a soft leather chair to read or watch the news prior to retiring to your sumptuous king bed.
Peak of Perfection offers a vacation of endless possibilities, both inside and beyond its walls. And though you are conveniently located near the quaint town of Blue Ridge, and even closer to Mercier Orchards, you may be too relaxed to leave the peaceful serenity you'll find here. In fact, once you've experienced the Peak of Perfection, you may never want to leave.

05/17- The cabin was warm and welcoming in appearance, it had a lovely screened in porch on two different levels. The master bedroom was upstairs on a level all of its own and it was just what our family needed in terms of size and accommodations. We actually heard a bear making grunting noises; thankfully he didn't come out. I think we made enough noise to wake the neighborhood and he ran off!! "Whew" we were glad, (yet excited that we heard it)!! Very nice company would recommend it (and have, to several of my colleagues!!!!).

Incredibly nice staff and super easy to work with! Even called to check on us as the weather was bad (winter storm) on our arrival day.
01/16- The home was very nice. There were lots of supplies available to us. More than we expected. The layout was great for our group and comfortable. There was ample seating and storage. That Campbell is a jewel! Her patience and customer service is off the meter. My interactions with her alone will make me a return customer. But overall, even with all of my group changes, my experience was seamless.
12/15- The living area very spacious. Some cabins sleep 10 people but have small gathering areas. Not this cabin. Awesome!!!

08/15- View was wonderful, huge supply of pots and pans for cooking- all the drawers were labelled extremely well. Loved the downstairs set up for the children which allowed the adults to talk upstairs. Linens, particularly towels, were thick quality and nice. The hot tub was very refreshing. The children enjoyed the playground- it was a much nicer quality set than I had anticipated. The light switches in the main area were very well labeled as well. Company was Excellent! From the moment I made the reservation online, someone called me back to process payment within 5 mins. The directions were super clear and straight-forward. When we arrived at the cabin, something was beeping every 2-3 mins and super annoying. I called the office and they were very friendly and helpful in trying to resolve the issue. It was the dish washer BTW. Very impressed with how helpful and friendly everyone I dealt with was. Would recommend to friends.

It was so peaceful, clean and the staff was so helpful and on point when i called with questions. I love it and i will be returning shortly. I would like to thank the staff.
03/15- The entire cabin. Everything was lovely. The pictures on Escape to Blue Ridge are pretty and makes you want to go, but we you see the cabin in person it is breathe taking. We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Ridge.
02/15- The favorite part of the home was the awesome view of the mountains. We enjoyed the fact that the home came equipped with all the cooking utensils. We also enjoyed the fire pits and fire places through out the home that made the atmosphere so comfortable. My husband and I vacationed with 4 other couples and they are still raving about the fun we had and the awesome experience. We are planning to come back again next year and would like the same cabin, providing they have made some changes, like the ones listed below. Overall it was a wonderful and well needed place to relax.
02/15- Very nice open floor plan on main level and great master bedroom.
02/15- This home is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is adequately stocked with essentials. 10/14- The view was beautiful, and our children really enjoyed playing on the playset and grassy area around the cabin. We have made cabin reservations through Escape to Blue Ridge for many years, and we have always been thoroughly satisfied our experience.
10/14- The layout, the view and great game room downstairs were what we enjoyed the most. By far the easiest to complete the "check in/out" process (all via email, nice). Kudos for that! Very nice cabin, will probably stay there again.
09/14- Peak of Perfection was a beautiful house in great condition with great wifi, Jacuzzi, HD sat TV and a great kitchen with great pots and pans and dishes. All five beds rooms were excellent with great mattresses and all were well decorated.
09/14- The view was great! Loved the wrap around porch, all the fun things to do downstairs and there was plenty of room for all of us. Beautiful Cabin, great for couples since it has large bedrooms. The view is awesome.
08/14- The view. The outdoor fireplace. The rocking chairs. The decor. Good price.
I want to start by saying that after staying in may of EBR cabins for the past 5+ years, I have never encountered the problems we did on this trip before! We problems from the beginning all the way to our last day. We arrived to find heaps and heaps of trash piled all around the trash cans, a broken bed on the main level, a pack of cigarettes on the banister by the front door, and a downstairs room so filled with smoke smell that we could not stand it. The smell even lingered in the downstairs family room. Most problems were solved within the first hour of our arrival except for the smoke smell in the downstairs bedroom. The Guest relations staff (April, Tara and maintenance guy) were helpful as could be! They came and took pictures, fixed the bed, washed ALL the linens off the bed and brought a cleaning odor spray. This helped some, but even on our last am in the cabin, you could still smell the smoke. During our stay, we also encountered rancid smells in the freezer and refrigerator, refrigerator occasionally leaked water onto the floor, and the last morning we were there, we went to move the outdoor patio table (to take a pic) and it completely fell apart upon even lifting it. I would NOT stay in this cabin again due to all our problems.
Our group of 9 stayed at Peak of Perfection for 3 nights. The cabin itself was beautiful, and there wasn't a trace of dust or dirt anywhere inside. The view from the back porch was spectacular, it was at an angle where all the peaks of the mountains were visible and we had a clear view. The road up to the cabin isn't easy, but it isn't too bad. I recommend just taking it slow, and not stopping the vehicle while driving uphill. Ironically enough, it felt like the drive from the Blue Ridge McDonald's to the cabin was longer than the whole drive from Atlanta! Kitchen is well stocked, kept clean, and has a useful island for when we were preparing large family meals. The game room was a blast, the kids loved the arcade machine. The hot tub is conveniently fenced in with mosquito wire, so it was still enjoyable to use during bug season. There are 5 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms (one per floor). No pull-out sofa. The bathrooms were functional, and worked well enough for all of our party. Water pressure was a little iffy when more than 1 shower was going (especially on the top floor), but that's to be expected. All in all, our group very much enjoyed our trip to Blue Ridge, and our stay at Peak of Perfection was wonderful. A beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view was definitely what we were looking for!
Escape to Blue Ridge has been our family's go-to for traveling to Blue Ridge for many years. Quick and convenient, always willing to talk about any questions or concerns. Our family has yet to complain about their service.
