Enjoy the coziness of the cabin, try new adventures nearby, have fun both in and outside the cabin, and be relaxed all at the same time. Sittin Pretty cabin gives you an experience you won’t forget!
The cabin was named Sittin Pretty because the house sits so pretty on top of the hill - it’s truly a Marvel! A plethora of fine details can be found throughout the cabin. One of those, is the work desk in the guest upstairs nook, which was handcrafted and carved by the owner with wood from a beautiful local wood shop. All of the pictures and artwork inside the cabin were taken by the owner in the local areas. The owners hope this cabin gives you as much enjoyment as it has given them!
As you step inside, you’ll be drawn into the modern farmhouse decor, giving the entire cabin a cozy, warm feeling like you're at home. The house has a neutral color scheme to allow the beautiful wood colors and patterns to thrive and to provide a genuinely calm feeling throughout.
As you step inside, you’ll be in the living room, complete with a lovely porcelain ceramic log fireplace. Sink into the multiple seating areas and prepare to relax, and put your feet up after a full day of exploration in the area. The kitchen is fully stocked and fully prepped for your enjoyment. Enjoy sitting at the bar area while the chef cooks and then unwind with one another in the dining room.
The basement has been turned into a lovely media/game room for all ages. A great place to put your feet up and turn on your families’ favorite movie or binge-watch your favorite show (the TVs in the house are smart TVs!). If you’re wanting to spend some time outside, the front porch and screened-in porch are ready for you. Grill up some favorites on the camp-style charcoal grill outside, too.
Multiple bedrooms are ready to welcome your tired feet. The master follows the same aesthetic as the rest of home with a king bed and has a work space for those who want to work remote in privacy. The guest bedroom is complete with 2 queen beds and the last bedroom also upstairs, comes with a queen bed as well for your sleeping needs.
You’ll be close to all of the fun in the region when you stay at Sittin Pretty, too. There are so many hike trails for nature lovers and so close to all the shops and boutiques in downtown Blue Ridge. Venture over to nearby Bear Claw Winery. It’s just 5 minutes away.
