Description Description
Tucked away on five private acres along the tranquil banks of Fightingtown Creek, River Song is more than just a luxury retreat, it’s an experience! The moment you turn onto the private, paved driveway, the world slows down. A circle drive leads to a strikingly modern, yet inviting, single-story home where the sounds of the river provide a gentle, ever-present melody.

Step through the grand entryway, and you’re greeted by a masterpiece of stone, glass, and warmth. The open-concept design is anchored by a four-sided stone fireplace, seamlessly connecting the living and kitchen areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in natural light, drawing attention to the oversized concrete island that anchors the kitchen. This stunning centerpiece doubles as a breakfast bar, offering seating for six and plenty of room for gathering. Outfitted with Viking appliances and abundant counter space, it’s a chef’s dream, equal parts functional and stylish. Just beyond, the dining area sits in front of expansive windows, inviting slow, memorable meals with a view of the ever-changing landscape outside.

The three-bedroom, three-bath retreat exudes understated elegance, with two king suites and one queen bedroom, each offering plush comfort and oversized closets. The spa-inspired bathrooms feature walk-in showers, blending modern design with a sense of serenity. For those who love a little friendly competition, the media room is fully stocked with a TV, shuffleboard, and a classic Ms. Pac-Man arcade game, the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the mountains.

But it’s the outdoor spaces that make River Song truly magical. The covered back porch, complete with an outdoor gas fireplace and lounge seating, overlooks the flowing creek, a scene straight from a nature documentary. The hot tub, perfectly positioned for relaxation, invites you to soak under the stars, while the fire table by the outdoor dining area adds a touch of cozy sophistication to every evening. Down by the river’s edge, the flatlands offer a perfect spot for fishing, wading, or simply sitting in silence, watching the deer move through the misty morning light.

While River Song feels like a secluded sanctuary, it’s just 1.5 miles from downtown McCaysville, where you can stroll through quaint shops, grab a meal at The Twisted Tomato, or sip craft brews at one of the local breweries. A 20-minute drive brings you to Blue Ridge, where fine dining at Grace or Ferraro’s Kitchen elevates the experience. If you’re in town on a Thursday or Saturday, a wine tasting at 34th Degree Wine Merchant is a must. Want to explore even further? Take a scenic 30-minute drive to Ellijay, a charming town known for its boutique shopping and mountain vibes.

Whether you spend your days floating the river, casting a line for trout, or simply enjoying the peaceful views, River Song is the kind of place that lingers in your memory. Morning coffee tastes better when it’s paired with the gentle sounds of the creek. Evening wine feels richer when sipped by the glow of the fire. And no matter how long you stay, you’ll find yourself counting the days until you can return.

Christmas in the Mountains!
Celebrated Christmas, enjoyed the fireplaces, watched the deer cross the river. Recommend the Toccoa River Restaurant, we had a nice meal there. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We absolutely loved it!

The home was so welcoming. EBR had the gas logs burning when we arrived at this well appointed home. It was everything we could have hoped for in a vacation home. They owners chose only the best in furnishing this home. Two of the many reasons that we chose this home were the one level feature and the walk in showers. The home is located close to town. The driveway is easy access and the home is nestled on acreage so that you are not crowded by neighbors. The view off the back seating area was astounding. We enjoyed watching the wildlife every morning.

Beautiful home with an amazing view. It feels secluded yet it’s only 1.5 miles down downtown McCaysville. My wife and our daughters had an amazing time. The Kitchen is the highlight !
