Yes. Before we can complete your reservation, we must have a signed Cabin Rental Agreement. You will receive the agreement via email upon making your reservation however, you may review our rental policies here

Many of our cabins are on gravel roads. A few cabins are best accessed by front wheel or four wheel drive. You’ll find this information in the cabin descriptions amenities list or you may call our office for information.

Yes. We accept reservations from responsible adults age 25 or above. Guest(s) who initiate the rental are responsible for all other guest(s) during their cabin stay.

Many of our cabins are within walking distance of each other. Others are in more remote, private locations. You’ll find this information under the Amenities section of each cabin description. If you have a specific question, please call our reservation office. Our team will be happy to answer your questions.

There are several grocery stores and some specialty food stores nearby. In Blue Ridge,we recommend Food Lion, or Ingles.

Packaged beer and wine may be purchased in Blue Ridge, GA, and in most surrounding towns. Several Blue Ridge restaurants serve alcohol by the drink. Alcohol may be purchased at liquor stores in Ellijay, GA or Murphy, NC. Both are about 25 minutes from Blue Ridge.

SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED INSIDE ANY PROPERTY OR IN HOT TUBS!!! Smoking is only permitted outside. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in ash trays or designated areas. There is a $500.00 fine (or more, depending on circumstances) when smoking is discovered inside a cabin, hot tub or for littering. ALL CIGARETTE BUTTS MUST BE FULLY EXTINGUISHED, BAGGED AND PLACED IN THE OUTSIDE TRASH CAN.

Yes. Escape to Blue Ridge gift certificates are a thoughtful way to show your appreciation for family, friends and business associates. To purchase a gift certificate, call 866-618-2521 or 706-413-5321.

Travel Insurance is available at 10.8% of your total and offered through Nationwide Insurance. Travel Insurance is available for any reservation booked 30 days or longer prior to arrival.  Escape to Blue Ridge strongly recommends that Guests purchase trip insurance if concerned about possible interruption or cancellation of trip. Trip insurance payment is taken at the time the reservation is processed. For detailed travel insurance coverage information, please contact Rental Guardian at 833-610-0736. Travel Insurance Coverage Information

During peak seasons or holidays, we require a three or four-night minimum. The following schedule explains our current seasonal minimum stay policies:

  • MLK Weekend: A three-night minimum.
  • Valentine’s Day: Three-night minimum if it falls on a weekend.
  • Presidents’ Day: A three-night minimum.
  • Memorial Day: A three-night minimum.
  • Mid-June: A three-night minimum when staying over a weekend.
  • July to Mid-August: A four-night minimum when staying over a weekend.
  • Independence Day: A four-night minimum.
  • Labor Day: A three-night minimum.
  • October to Mid-November: A three-night minimum when staying over a weekend.
  • Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s: A four-night minimum.

Each reservation requires a minimum down payment of $250.00 and the balance must be paid in full 30 days before check-in or when you make your reservation – if you call within the 30-day period. We accept personal checks (must clear our bank before crediting your reservation), money orders, cashier’s checks, travelers checks, Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover cards.

You will be emailed or mailed directions and specific property information such as gate and/or alarm codes 10 days before your arrival or after your full payment has been received.

Firewood is provided for cabins with wood burning fireplaces inside or outside (on porches, etc.) Firewood is not provided for outdoor fire pits. Firewood can be purchased at local convenience stores, grocery stores and at times, from roadside vendors. Do not cut wood surrounding the cabin. ABSOLUTELY NO LIQUID ACCELERANTS ARE ALLOWED. Liquid accelerants are extremely dangerous to you and our properties. Guests may be fined if an accelerant is used.

We recommend that you bring Duraflame® fire logs to help start harder woods.

Escape to Blue Ridge has many pet-friendly cabins. Each is designated “pet friendly” in the cabin description. You may also find these cabins on the Cabin Search page. We charge an additional daily rate of $15 per day per pet with a maximum of two pets.

We also have many “people only” cabins for guests who prefer properties that do not allow pets.

Yes. You can go straight to your cabin to begin your mountain vacation! Our cabins have a keyless entry system. Your cabin access code is provided with your directions.
Yes. Escape to Blue Ridge is required by law to charge local and state sales tax, at the prevailing rate on each reservation.

Our North GA cabin rentals have flat nightly rates, and are based upon cabin size, location, views and amenities. You can view each cabin’s nightly rates by viewing the calendar on each cabin's web page.

If you or your guest(s) accidentally leave a personal item in the cabin, please contact us as soon as possible. If we discover something left behind, we will make every effort to contact you and make arrangements to return the item(s). During our busier seasons, it may take up to 14 days to return certain items. The charge for returning items is $35 plus shipping and handling.
The Escape to Blue Ridge team is available to guests 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The on-call service number is provided with your cabin directions.
No. As a guest, you MUST REPORT any damage at the property during your stay to qualify for full coverage. If damage is discovered by our Property Inspectors after your departure, the Accidental Damage Protection will be denied. Please report any damage if it occurs.

The Guest Services Fee includes:

  • Accidental Damage Protection Coverage - up to $500.00 for unintentional damage to the cabin. (See item #6 on Guest Rental Agreement.)
  • Reservation and Credit Card Processing
  • After-Hours Emergency Service
  • Free Lock-Out Visit
  • Concierge Services

The $28.00/day non-refundable Guest Service Fee is required for all reservations. This fee is capped at a maximum 7 day rate of $196.00.

We suggest you bring personal grooming items, groceries and the items below:

  • Insect repellent (summer)
  • Duraflame logs for wood-burning fireplaces only
  • Medicines (aspirin, ibuprofen, first aid kit, etc.)
  • Beach towels (for summer excursions to Lake Blue Ridge)

If you’re enjoying a lengthy stay, you may want to bring:

  • Additional hand soap and shampoo
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Coffee filters
  • Laundry detergent
  • Entertainment items (DVDs, CDs, books, board games, playing cards, puzzles)

Each of our North Georgia vacation rental cabins includes:

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Professionally cleaned and pressed luxurious linens and towels
  • A starter supply of paper products, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, dish and dishwasher detergent
  • Fully-equipped kitchens for preparing and serving meals

Our rental cabins are located throughout throughout north Georgia including Fannin, Gilmer and Union counties. You will find a map with easy to follow directions here.

Each home's nightly rates includes up to the maximum number of people the home sleeps. We do require the name of each person who will be staying in the home, and cannot allow for more than the maximum allowed.

Cell phone service can be sporadic in the mountains. Most of our cabins have cell phone coverage. You may also make local calls from your cabin phone. If you wish to make long distance calls from your cabin phone, please bring a prepaid calling card.
The Guest Services Fee includes Accidental Damage Protection. This protects guests from incurring costs for unintentional and incidental damage to the rental cabin and its contents if it is reported by the guest during their stay. Protection doesn’t exceed the amount of coverage purchased. Accidental Damage Protection includes coverage up to $500.00. As a guest occupying an Escape to Blue Ridge property and covered under this plan, you are not obligated to pay for accidental damage (up to $500.00) to the property owner’s covered personal property located within the rental property that you occupy.
