Tranquil, spacious, and family-friendly, that’s what Bunker Down is all about. This gorgeous retreat is located at Old Toccoa Farm – Blue Ridge’s highly regarded 18-hole Bunker-Hill designed golf course, overlooking the 6th hole.
Every detail inside this stunning home was made with your comfort and relaxation in mind, including screened porch, comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms, televisions and ceiling fans in every bedroom and the main living spaces, a plethora of outdoor amenities, and so much more.
Step inside and revel in the lovely fireplace in the family room. Sink into the couch or two recliners with a glass of wine nicely chilled from the wine refrigerator and take the day off. Venture into the kitchen and admire the quartz counters, white cabinets, stainless steel appliances (including a french door oven), and every accessory you could need for cooking. There’s even a coffee bar for those who need a little bit of extra caffeine to start their day.
The outdoor amenities are vast and beautiful. Enjoy the screened-in porch or lower level patio, which extends to each of the bedrooms for ample relaxation. A fireplace awaits you on the main deck as well, along with plenty of seating. In addition, you’ll find a six-person hot tub, a cozy chaise lounge, a gas grill, and a cornhole set on the lower level. You could spend hours out here just enjoying one another’s company or watching the golfers on Old Toccoa Farms finest signature hole!
Along with the main living area, the cabin has a game room complete with a regulation-sized pool table, a shuffleboard table, a large 70” Smart TV for watching all of your favorite shows and games, and more. In addition, there are board games and cards that suit every family member’s need for fun.
Then, when it is time for bed, multiple king bedrooms await you. Both of the main floor bedrooms have screened porches with chairs that are perfect for taking in all the views and the gorgeous surroundings. So, bunker down and rest off the day!
Staying here means you’re close to all of the action, in addition to the world-class golfing at Old Toccoa Farm, you can enjoy the onsite restaurant, fishing, kayaking, rafting, and more. You’re also close to some favorite hiking trails nearby, such as the Benton MaKaye Trail and the Appalachian Trail. Hop on board the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and take a ride through the mountains. Plus, there’s plenty of shopping, dining, and more nearby (including a casino and some great breweries).

The location is beautiful. Being in a gated golf course community with access to The Tavern was all amazing. The community is breathtaking and exactly what we love about Bunker Down. We booked the Hillside Cottages for a small corporate event along with the house Bunker Down and had a great event. The cottages were spacious and provided the privacy we needed but being on property with the restaurant for meetings and dining made it so easy for us all. The Old Toccoa Farm golf course and the Tavern provided excellent food, service and ambiance too.

We just recently had a guys trip here for golf. It was a great weekend of fellowship. The golf was superb and the home was very comfortable and clean! Enjoyed the corn hole and pool table room.

We had the opportunity to stay here as one of the first guests and it is a special place. One of the best views of the signature barn hole at Old Toccoa Farm Golf Course and overlooking the Toccoa River with a mountain view too. You just cant beat it! The doors open up to a gorgeous screened porch where we watched the family of deer have dinner at dusk. Enjoyed the walking trails and walks around Old Toccoa Farm along with lunch at the new Tavern. The sleeping arrangements were so nice and we all had our own suite with private bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked well and flowed better than my kitchen.. A well built gorgeous home!
