There are three lakes about a third of a mile’s walk, or drive from the cabin’s door, with parking area and covered pavilion to enjoy activities like fishing and kayaking awaiting you, so bring your gear. It’s just eight miles to downtown Blue Ridge, where you’ll find fun eateries like Mystic Mountain Pizza, Rum Cake Lady Cuban Food Café and Southern Charm, for fried chicken and fried green tomatoes. Hop on the Blue Ridge Railway to McCaysville or visit the many breweries, wineries and orchards in the area and go home with yummy samples.
Inside, the all-wood, ceiling fan-cooled interior and comfy rustic furniture gives Cherokee Creek a warm and welcoming ambience, and the animal-themed décor represents the deer, turkeys, and bears that populate the surrounding woods.
