Lake Escape

We came to Blue Ridge for a family reunion. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the lake and the dock.

What a Great Escape! This home was perfect for our 3 generations of family-enough space to allow privacy & comfort, with a beautiful view of the lake from all 3 levels. Furnishings and beds were comfortable & clean, fully stocked kitchen easily handled dinner for 9-11 people. Breeze off the lake was wonderful & a nice escape from the heat "in town". Being in a small cove protected the littles from boat traffic/wake so they could safely swim & play. Dock was a nice size, we enjoyed taking our Sea-Doo out early mornings when Lake Blue Ridge was smooth as glass. Fire pit convos and occasional s'mores ended perfect days. Loved it so much we have already reserved for next summer's family gathering!

What a great home! We loved the layout of the home - 3 levels - which allowed our kids to have a dedicated space and plenty of separation when they were enjoying the game/movie room. The kids loved the bunk beds! My wife and I enjoyed the Loft, especially the Loft Porch! The beds were comfortable and the linens (sheets and towels) were great! On evenings when it rained, the metal roof gave off a nice, natural white noise, which the kids enjoyed. The amenities were great, and the interior design of cabin provided a great rustic feeling (real wood!), while still having all of the "creature comforts" that we were used too. All of the appliances worked very well - stove, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, AC. The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils, plenty enough cookware, dishes, etc. and lots of extra trash bags. We liked the layout of the kitchen - plenty of cabinet and counter-top space, and of course, the solid wood cabinets and modern appliances.

We enjoyed reading the Guest book, and learning what the other guests enjoyed on their visit. Also, the labels above the light switches and kitchen drawers were a nice touch to help us get quickly acquainted with the home! The outdoor space was great, with lots of sitting area and great views from all three porch levels, and the outdoor fire pit was perfect for evenings outside, eating s'mores and watching the sunset- there was a lot of firewood too! We also liked the outdoor lighting (LED light strands) which provided a great atmosphere for outside dinners. The lake view was amazing, and we enjoyed the sun chairs on the dock. The location on the lake was secluded enough where there wasn't a lot of boaters, making it peaceful and quiet for most of the day/evening. The sunsets were breath taking! 

We did not get into the hot tub, so we can't comment on that experience; however, it was a great amenity option to have.....maybe next time :)

We also enjoyed the overall location, which felt secluded, but was close enough to grocery stores, shopping, etc. We enjoyed the local area orchards and restaurants - the locals were all nice and welcoming! Overall it was an amazing home in a great location - providing a relaxing and recharging vacation for our family (which was much needed), as well as some great family bonding time!!

We rented boats from Blue Ridge Boat Rentals and had a great time tubing and surfing and just riding around the lake. Really beautiful, well appointed home, Enjoyed our visit.

Definitely a 10 from beginning to end. We are now thinking about when we are going to be booking again!! Definitely recommend this cabin and company!! One thing that me and my girls loved were the labeled light switches and the cleanliness of the entire cabin and surrounding areas. This was an easy process from beginning to end. There was so much to do at the cabin that once we got there we didn't have to leave. Groceries we had picked up before arrival and we had everything we needed to cook and relax!!! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT !!!

Our favorite memory is enjoying the lake by the fire pit at sunset! The home is just beautiful and we loved staying here! We recommend shopping downtown Blue Ridge and downtown Blairsville especially Alexanders.Thank you for a very relaxing stay!
