The area for the dogs was perfect. The screened in area with fireplace was where most of the time was spent. This was the perfect home for peace and quiet. And of course the deer every morning!

We had a great time! I Loved the games, the telescope, Binoculars, Hot tub! The outdoor screened in area was the best with the waterfall feature and the Sound System! The cabin was so homey. Thank you SO much for all the provided things in the cabin! Oh, and the firewood! My dog absolutely loved the gated decks and fenced in area! My dog is a Husky-German Shephard mix, she had a blast! This was the best girls’ trip ever! I will definitely be coming back! I Hope the Next person enjoys this cabin as much as we did!

During our trip we went to the Toccoa Swinging Bridge, a short hike to a beautiful scene over to Blue Ridge and Ellijay, always love walking through these little towns. We went tubing on the Chattahoochee in Helen, great time was had by all. Down to Dahlongea by way of Sea Creek Falls, do not miss this, you could easily spend a day frolicking in the cool waters of this true natural masterpiece. And on to Anna Ruby Falls, all I can say is wow! Truly breathtaking! Places to eat include Pooles Barbeque in Eliljay, amazing food. Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, highly recommend the Pecan Crusted Trout, the Pecan Butter is a game changers, Hueller's Cafe in Helen has great fried cheese and solid German food. Overall, take your time and don't rush, enjoy all this area has to offer. We look forward to our next Blue Ridge Mountain adventure with anticipation. Tumnus Ridge is a wonderful cabin, peaceful and serene and all the amenities you could ask for. Fireworks over the Lake were spectacular! Warmest Wishes!

The home was perfect - very kid and dog friendly. The location was great and the amenities in the cabin were everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the covered porch outside and the views from inside the home. The kids loved the bunk beds and the games. I love there was a fenced area for our dog. We will be back here for sure.

We highly recommend this ultra clean, well-appointed cabin just a couple of short hours from the city. EBR makes check-in easy and are always available. We will definitely use them again - I even spent a couple of hours looking at their properties while we were there. Not only was the cabin just as listed and exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and amenities, but also filled with special touches, like dog bowls and bed for our senior terrier, and a very fun set-up for our seven-year-old. We appreciated the instructions providing just the right amount of information without feeling pushy. The fireplace, hot tub, outdoor fire pit with waterfall, and fireplace porch are all great. The cabin feels like it was built around the activities you want to do there. Finally, this is personal, but we enjoyed the art, books, games, and decor, and felt very comfortably welcome. We look forward to our next visit.

A great get-a-way for our family to celebrate our daughter's 14th birthday! The cabin was so comfortable and perfect for us. As Narnia fans We love the "Tumnus Ridge moniker as well. Great hiking and great hot tubbing. Hanging out in the town of Blue Ridge was fun too. Consensus is that 2 nights was too short... needed "10 mare days" per polling of the family. Thanks!

Wow! Really enjoyed this cabin, perfect for us and our dogs. We had wonderful weather, a very nice week! I think this is the nicest cabin we have stayed in! Very comfortable and convenient. Easy roads to the property and so nice and secluded. Love Love Love the wrap around porch and fireplace screened in room! Super nice that firewood was provided! Made our stay enjoyable, didn't have to locate wood. Perfect week! What a beautiful home! We enjoyed all the amenities of this home! The trees, property & wildlife are so special, and it was a joy to be here. The outdoor fireplace was the perfect spot to enjoy conversation and time with friends. Thank you for the awesome stay!

We enjoyed our stay and loved watching all the deer-Three bucks one spike horn, three babies and one very special deer that we named “Prancer”, if you see her you will know why, very distinct proud walk. She lives just over the ridge just past the driveway, Prancer is usually alone. We fed her apples about 20 ft. from us. We also had a black bear on our 4th day and he was just 20 ft. off of the deck. He wasn’t afraid of us and paid no attention until we move and then he took off. He stopped to stand and scratch a tree about 100 feet away. (We did get into the house) We were going out to light the grill when we saw the bear. The deer have a routine-it’s 7:00-7:30pm is when you will see the most deer come out when she heard us drive in is usually when you will see the most deer. Prancer came out when she heard us drive in and is usually out in the trees if you watch for her. We did not have a dog which I am sure the deer appreciated!

We absolutely loved this cabin! Beautiful area and we loved the screened porch and wrap around the deck. We loved seeing all the deer and one baby deer that got trapped in the backyard and saw a turtle later. Out of all the towns we went to, Helen, GA was our favorite, the town was so cute! We most enjoyed the large and comfortable covered screened porch with fireplace. The house is so nice with master bedroom, back deck, covered porch and hot tub all on main level. Very helpful for anyone who can't do stairs. Upstairs loft and bedrooms also very nice. Located in very peaceful setting with no steep mountain roads to navigate to get there.

This was our second time staying in this home. We love the screened porch with fireplace! It is where we spent most of our time. The fenced yard is wonderful for our fur babies. And, I need to know the name of the sheets that are on the beds - I forgot to look before I left and they are the softest sheets ever!

We had a great time. Spacious cabin it had everything you need from the extra blankets to everything you will need to cook a meal in the kitchen. Everything in the kitchen is labeled which I thought was a special touch. The kids enjoyed the hot tub after a hike around the property. Great place to unwind. The drive was scenic. No need of a 4x4.

We thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness of the home. The porch area was great for our granddaughter to run and play and the pet area was perfect for our Beagle puppy. The number of deer we saw was remarkable. The outside fireplace area was where we spent a lot of time. It was very relaxing. The dining area was plenty large for our family and the inside finish work was very well done.

This home was immaculate. From all the outdoor features to all the spaces inside it was just not missing a detail. This house had everything you needed to make it a home. It was definitely one of the most clean rental Properties we have ever stayed in and my family and I travel quite a bit. We loved how it included the duraflames and gas for the grill to start.

Tumnus Ridge was stocked with all your kitchen needs. I really enjoyed the daily "Hello" from the Deer. They would just walk through the property. Beautiful. The outside screened porch was nice, with the waterfall feature to relax your mind. You have a nice fenced in area for your dog. Mine loved the ability to just explore and I did not have to worry where he was. Highly recommend this property.

This is a wonderful cabin. You'll feel at home right away. You can tell the dedication put into every detail. My family and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed every corner of this cozy cabin. My dogs had so much fun in the outdoors. I was concerned about my dogs getting lost without boundaries but this property has a fenced area connected to the wrap around decks that will give you peace of mind. One very important thing for every traveler is the comfort of the bed, the bed, blankets and pillows did not disappoint. Overall the feeling of being secluded and in touch with nature is exactly what we wanted. Great job done by the company Escape to Blue Ridge, very professional and responsive. Thank you for these amazing days. We are already talking about what date to come back!!

This was the perfect stay for our Blue Ridge getaway! Just the right amount of space, very clean, convenient location, and loved how dog friendly the house was. We loved both the outdoor and indoor fireplace, the jacuzzi and grill, and the wrap-around porch. The wifi worked great for our needs, and the kitchen had just what we needed. It was especially unique, in that every day we saw deer right outside! Great setup for our small family. We have already shared Tumnus Ridge's info with some of our family members to possibly book a stay!

We were very comfortable! The furnishings felt like home and the kitchen was a good working kitchen! Our dog appreciated the large deck and side fenced yard. It was convenient for us not to always have to have her on a leash.

This is one of the best yet, so many great things. It is easy to get to and get into house, beautiful landscape and able to walk around, wonderful wild life, 2 sweet deer bedded down at night near back deck area, hummingbird feeder there with them coming at breakfast, the dog friendly/fenced yard was amazing and wrap around deck. We loved the fireplaces and eating areas to choose from, the screened areas, and the storm doors. The plants and flowers were really nice and the house decor was beautiful. Comfortable beds, furniture, pillows and blankets. Plenty of room, lighting, switches marked is always helpful. Hot tub was amazing. Games were fun. Staff was great and helpful. It has the perfect with the fireplace room. Great atmosphere sitting out there.
