February Events 2026

It’s been a chilly winter in Blue Ridge, but don’t worry things are heating up with so many great events! This month includes romantic Valentine’s Day dinners, film festivals, theater, live music, and the return of one of our favorite annual events, Fire & Ice Chili Cookoff & Craft Beer Festival. You won’t want to miss a second of all the fun in Blue Ridge this winter!


Oklahoma

February 1st-February 8th 

Location: Blue Ridge Community Theater

Enjoy the classic golden age musical, Oklahoma, put on by the talented kids at Sunny D's Children's Theater at Blue Ridge Community Theater! Follow the story of Laurey, Curly, and Judd on the American frontier set to Rodgers and Hammerstein's wonderful music. Shows are Thursdays – Saturdays at 6:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.  The show runs January 29th-February 8th.  Please call the box office at 706-632-9191 for tickets. 


Buck Bald Brewing Live Music & Events

The Makers Collective

Artist in Residence: Cheryl Engledow

Location: Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association

The 2026 Artist in Residence at BRMAA program kicks off with abstract artist, Cheryl Engledow. Cheryl includes texture and layers of paint in her abstracts to produce depth and richness in each of her paintings. Her work will be on display through March 29th.

This wonderful annual performance at the Craddock Center in Cherry Log, GA will include musicians and storytellers who share the best of Appalachia’s unique culture and traditions in honor of Helen Lewis. Admission is free but donations are welcome and will go towards the purchase of new books.


Valentine's Farm to Table Dinner

February 7th 

Location: Cress Creek Farms 

Enjoy a delicious and romantic Valentine's Day Farm to Table Dinner at Cress Creek Farm in Ellijay. The dinner will include 5-6 course prepared by a wonderful private chef with all of the meats and harvest grown right on the farm. There will also be live music, a chance to feed the sheep, and BYOB and VIP tickets available. Basic tickets are $120 per person and VIP package is $175. 


Downtown Blairsville Chocolate Walk

February 7th 

Location: Downtown Blairsville

Join in the “sweet” fun February 8th from 11am-4pm in Downtown Blairsville for a Chocolate Walk! There will be 20+ participating merchants offering a selection of artisanal chocolates, truffles, and so much more! Included in your $15 ticket is also a map of vendors, a chocolate passport and a swag bag. Be sure to collect stamps at each vendor for a chance to win a $100 shopping spree in Downtown Blairsville!


Northern Bites

February 7th

Enjoy a Northern Bites dinner at Roo Mountain Vineyards! The Roo Barrel Room will be transformed into an icy wonderland. Enjoy four artfully crafted wines, each paired with a seasonal small bite designed to highlight winter’s most comforting flavors. Tickets are $65 per person.

Love Letters

This charming yet bittersweet play follows the 50+ year love story between Andrew & Melissa, told entirely through letters. From childhood notes to adult confessions, their correspondence reveals their hopes, disappointments, humor, and deep affection, even as life’s choices and circumstances keep them apart. 15th Annual Fire & Ice Chili Cookoff & Craft Beer Festival

Winter fun will be back at the 15th Annual Fire & Ice Chili Cookoff & Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, February, 14th! The event will include ice sculptures, live music, and plenty of chili and craft beers! Buy a $15 tasting card to try all the delicious chilis and be sure to check out the ice sculpting process from award winning ice sculptors. This is a great annual event you won’t want to miss!

Matchmakers & Mimosas 5K

February 21st

Location: Ott Farms and Vineyards

Come on out for this fun, mimosa themed 5K race at Ott Farms and Vineyards. The race brings a festive Valentine twist to your run, inviting athletes of all paces to enjoy a fun, feel-good course filled with heart-day spirit. Customer Appreciation Day

Location: Mercier Orchards

Mercier Orchards is celebrating Customer Appreciation Day by celebrating with all of you! there will be free blueberry plants, pony rides & a petting zoo, live music, food vendors, hard cider tastings, tree planting, tractor tours, magicians, door prizes, and so much more. 6th Annual Chili and Cornbread Cookoff

February 22nd

Location: Buck Bald Brewing 


February is the month for chili cookoffs! Buck Bald Brewing will be hosting their own chili cookoff at the end of the month, and if you’ve got a chili recipe you love now’s your chance to share it! There will be both civilian and commercial entries and medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers. Come on down!


Youth Art Month

February 26th-February 28th 

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association

Celebrate the start of Youth Art Month with a special exhibition “The World Needs Art”. The opening reception will take place Thursday, February 26th at 3:30pm-5:30pm. The exhibition will be on display from the opening reception on February 26th thru March 28th. 


Smoke on the Mountain

February 26th-February 28th

Location: Blue Ridge Community Theater

Smoke on the Mountain is a joyful musical that follows The Sanders Family and their arrival at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, in a small town in North Carolina in 1938. The family brings gospel classics, bluegrass charm, and heartfelt humor to the congregation of the Baptist Church. Shows are Thursdays – Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm.  The show runs February 26th-March 22nd.  Please call the box office at 706-632-9191 for tickets.  


Glow In The Dark Sporting Clays

February 27th 

Location: Noontootla Creek Farms

Come on down to Noontootla Creek Farms for some after hours fun! You’ll arrive at 7:30 to a delicious dinner at the Mill then head out to the pavilion for glow in the dark sporting clay games. The winner will even take home a prize! Your $100 reservation includes dinner and 50 clays per person. Don’t miss out on this fun clay shooting experience!


Blue Ridge Film Festival 

February 27th-February 28th

Location: Blue Ridge Community Theater 


The Blue Ridge Film Festival, hosted at Blue Ridge Community Theater, brings independent films and artists to an already thriving art town for a weekend of community. Artists can enjoy events and workshops, connect with other filmmakers, watch various independent films, and so much more. The event runs Friday, February 27th thru Saturday, February 28th at Blue Ridge Community Theater.
