The Miracle Worker

June 1st-June 7th

Location: Blue Ridge Community Theater

Based on a true story, the play Miracle Worker follows a young Helen Keller and her extraordinary teacher, Annie Sullivan. With fierce dedication and unshakable resolve, Annie breaks through the silence and darkness surrounding Helen’s world, teaching her the gift of language and opening the door to connection. Shows are Thursdays – Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm.  The show runs May 21st-June 7th.  Please call the box office at 706-632-9191 for tickets.

3rd Annual Bearhoti Bike Fest

Location: Mulberry Gap Adventure Basecamp

Outdoor lovers will love exploring the North Georgia Mountains at the 3rd Annual Bearhoti Bike Fest! Everyone is welcome and guests can choose their own adventure! Ride individually or with a group; have summer camp fun with campfires, s'mores, live music, games, and more; and eat delicious food from Mulberry gap and wash it down with a local brew! Artist in Residence: Jimiyo Benedict

Location: Blue Ridge Arts Association

Join us in celebrating the beauty of art at the Art Center for sculpturer, Jimiyo Benedict. Jimi’s sculptures transform common packaging materials into stylized animal forms that sit between craft, design, and folk sculpture. Built through cutting, layering, and shaping corrugated cardboard and other paper-based materials, the work emphasizes rhythm, surface pattern, and the structural potential of an everyday medium. The opening reception will take place on June 6th at 5pm and Jimiyo's works will be on display through August 30th. 


The Shape of Clay Artisan Pottery Exhibition

Location: Blue Ridge Arts Association

Come on out to the Art Center for “The Shape of Clay” which promotes the talent and design of two- and three-dimensional clay artists. These artists combine technical skill, imagination, and craftsmanship to produce works that range from decorative wall pieces and tiles to functional pottery and sculptural forms. The opening reception will take place on June 6th at 5pm and "The Shape of Clay" exhibit will be on display through August 30th. 


Georgia Mountain Scottish Festival and Highland Games

Greater Atlanta British Motorcycle Association

Come on out to Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds for the annual summer British in the Blue Ridge Rally! This is THE premier British motorcycle rally in the southeastern United States and has been held every year since 1985. The event will have a motorcycle show, vendors, field events, mountain motorcycle rides, and camping! All makes and models are welcome to join, and campsites are available as well!


2026 Northeast Georgia Arts Tour

Kids Fly Fishing Exploratory Class

Teach your youngest fishermen & women the basics of fly fishing at Noontootla Creek Farm's Kids Fly Fishing Exploratory Class on June 13th. Kids will learn basic fishing knots, how to seine the creek for aquatic insects & identify them, practice casting on the water, learn how to properly fight & land a fish, and how to safely handle & release them. Shenandoah

Country music band Shenandoah is coming to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds this summer! Mountain Fling Arts & Crafts Show

The Mountain Fling Arts & Crafts Show is back at First United Methodist Church of Union County! The event will feature local and regional artists and crafters selling their wonderful & unique items! Admission is $3 a person. 


15th Annual Blairsville Rodeo

Location: Union County Saddle Club Arena

Head to Blairsville for the 15th Annual Pro Rodeo! Catch all the action in the covered arena from 8pm-11pm. There is also plenty to do for the little ones as well, along with food and fun! This is a great entertaining event that the whole family will love!


4th Annual Georgia State Fiddler's Convention

June 20th

Location: Union County Schools Fine Arts Center

Come on out to the Union County Schools Fine Arts Center for the 4th Annual Georgia State Fiddler’s Convention! Fiddlers of all ages will be competing, so you’ll have ample opportunities to enjoy some bluegrass tunes. There will also be arts & crafts, food trucks, and more! Admission is $10 a person.

The Dog Days of Summer event takes place from 10am-2pm in Downtown Blairsville and will include a dog parade at 9am, pet friendly vendors, animal artists, raffles, and more! There will also be a free/low cost vaccination clinic and free microchipping for both dogs and cats. Don’t have a dog of your own? There will even be pups there looking to find their ‘furever’ home! You won’t want to miss this awesome dog friendly event!


5K Wine Run

A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band, is a highly-regarded 8-piece Atlanta-based group. Don’t miss this night of music at Blue Ridge Community Theater for their Live Music is Better series! Historic Crafts Day

Location: Tabor House

Come on out to the Historic Tabor House in Ellijay for crafts, history, and community on June 27th! There will be Cherokee & Turn-of-the-Century Craft Demonstrations with items for sale, free Hands-On Craft Making for Children, Civil War Reenactors, and a museum tour honoring the history and heritage of Gilmer County. Refreshments will be provided by BJ Reece Apple House and A Little Baked Bakery. The craft tables and museum will be open from 11am-3pm. Admission is $5 for adults and children are free!

Lake Chatuge Artisan Market

Location: Towns County Recreation & Conference Center

Head on over to the Towns County Recreation & Conference Center in Hiawassee for theLake Chatuge Artisan Market! There will be over 75 vendors in attendance selling all kinds of unique artisan goods like pottery, honey, soaps, canned goods, and more! The Georgia Mountain Falconry will also be giving demonstrations of their birds throughout the event. Admission is $5 per person, and children are free!


Pickin' On the Porch

Location: Blue Ridge Adventure Dog

Come on out for Blue Ridge Adventure Dog's very first community pickin’ night! This laid-back concert welcomes anyone to bring an acoustic instrument and join in on the fun! All skill levels welcome! There will also be beer, wine, and canned cocktails available. Bring your friends and your dog and come on down!
