November Events 2025

November is finally here and it’s the best of worlds! Not only can you still enjoy fun fall festivals and activities but it’s also the start of the holiday season here in the mountains, so you can look forward to holiday markets, Christmas parades, tree lightings and more! See what November in North Georgia has in store for you! 


Trunk or Treat

November 1st

Location: The Swan Drive In

The Swan Drive In will be hosting a special Trunk or Treat event before the Beetlejuice double feature. At 1pm set up begins for those participating in the trunk or treat decorating contest and trick or treating begins at 3pm. Then at 4:30pm winners will be announced for the best costume and best trunk decorations. Come on out for this fun, free Halloween event! 


Hallo-Wine Costume Party

November 1st

Location: Paradise Hills

Get ready to party at Paradise Hills adult costume party! Come dressed in your costumes and receive a free wine tasting. And bring in a carved pumpkin for the chance to win some awesome prizes. There will also be live music from Tom Edwards so you can “boo”gie it up on the dance floor! The fun kicks off November 1st at 11am.


Crowder

November 1st

Location: Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds

You'll be crowding to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds to catch a glimpse of gospel artist, Crowder live and in person! Crowder is one of the most influential voices in Contemporary Christian Music. Armed with five No. 1 radio singles, five GRAMMY nominations, and more than 20 Dove Award nominations. And joining Crowder at the Fairgrounds will be special guest, Eli Gable. Tickets for the November 1st show are $45+ handling.


Trash to Treasure Sale

November 1st 

Location: Union County Civic Center

One man’s trash in another man’s treasure! Come on out for Union County Lions Club’s  annual Trash to Treasure Sale! There will be over 40 vendors in attendance selling all kinds of gently used items. There will also be a selection of tasty food for sale. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Vision Conservation programs of the Lions Club.


Holiday Bazaar 

November 1st-November 2nd 

Location: Towns County Recreation Department 

Get your holiday shopping done early at the Holiday Bazaar atTowns County Recreation and Conference Center! There will be over 75 vendors in attendance offering a wide variety of Christmas decorations, homemade crafts, art, gourmet food including holiday favorites, demonstrations, classes and more! Admission is $5 for adults, children are free.


Live Music & Events at Living Water Winery

November 1st-November 5th

Location: Living Water Winery

Live life well, at Living Water Winery! Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while sipping on estate grown wine or craft beer, on their 70-acre farm. And on weekends you can enjoy live music from one of their many terraces.

2025 Community Quilt and Fiber Arts Exhibition 

November 1st-November 9th

Location: Blue Ridge Arts Association

The Community Quilt and Fiber Arts Exhibition will be on display at the Art Center from October 25th-November 9th. This exhibition presents a stunning collection of quilts and fiber art crafted by both local and regional artists. Visitors can explore a diverse array of styles, including whole-cloth quilts, intricate crazy quilts, and memory quilts. Join us for the opening reception on October 25th at 5pm.


Tick, Tick... Boom

November 1st-November 9th

Location: Blue Ridge Community Theater

Tick, Tick... Boom follows the story of a composer in New York trying to get his big break into theater. This compelling story of personal discovery is presented as a rock musical filled with instantly appealing melodies and a unique blend of musical theatre styles.  Shows are Thursdays – Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Young Harris College Tournament

Rats, Rust, & Horsepower

Cool cars are coming to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds for the Rats, Rust, & Horsepower Car Show Friday, November 7th and Saturday November 8th from 9am-4pm. The show will feature 1979 Rat Rods, Traditional Hot Rods, Customs, Lead Sleds, Shop Trucks, and Patina Vehicles. General admission is $10 per person and children 12 & under are free! 


Bigfoot Boogie 5k

November 8th

Location: Riverwalk, McCaysville

The Riverwalk Run Series presents the Bigfoot Boogie 5K. 3.1 Miles, 2 States, 1 Steelbridge. A 5K like no other, and costumes are encouraged! This scenic run follows the historic Toccoa River along McCaysville, GA and into Copperhill, TN for a wonderful day of fun!


Honor Flight Fundraiser Dinner

November 8th

Location: Old Toccoa Farm

Celebrate Veteran's Day at Old Toccoa Farm with a special Honor Flight Fundraiser Dinner. Thomas Matteo, a decorated Vietnam War veteran and Purple Heart recipient, will be a guest speaker at this fundraising event. The money from the tickets and the event will go towards the Honor Flight Network, a remarkable program that ensures America’s veterans are recognized, celebrated, and given the opportunity to visit the memorials built in their honor.


Winery Comedy Night

Veterans Day Community Celebration

Location: Veterans Memorial Park

Honor our Veterans with a meaningful Veterans Day Ceremony hosted by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Following the ceremony there will be food, music, and family fun. Join in the celebrations on Saturday, November 8th from 12pm-3:30pm at Veterans Memorial Park in Blue Ridge and the Fannin County Middle School parking lot. 


Handmade for the Holidays

Location: Fannin County Schools Agriculture Facility

Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? At Handmade for the Holidays you'll find all kinds of unique and beautiful gift ideas handcrafted by talented local and regional artists. This holiday craft market will take place on November 8th & 9th from 9am-4pm at the  Fannin County Schools Agriculture Facility.


Veterans Day Service

November 11th

Location: Towns County Veterans Park

Honor all who served with a special Veterans Day Service on Veterans Day at 11am in  Towns County Veterans Park. The Towns County High School Band will be in attendance to play the National Anthem, Patriotic Hymns, and Taps.  11 Veterans names will also be added to the Memorial Wall of Honor this year.


WhoDunIt? Fun-draiser Art Event

November 15th 

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association

The 14th Annual WhoDunIt art event is a great opportunity to get your hands on amazing art from local artists at a great price! It’s your job to find out who the artist is who created your piece! There will be food, fun, and of course stunning works of art!  Tickets are $50 a person and ensure you go home with a beautiful piece of art!


Christmas Market

November 15th-November 16th

Location: Downtown Ellijay

Head to Ellijay for their annual Christmas Market! This year's event will take place over the course of two days; November 15th & 16th from 10am-3pm on Sand Street in Downtown Ellijay. There will be live music, food trucks, local vendors, and Santa Claus! The event is FREE for all!

Tour of Trees

November 16th-November 23rd

Location: Serenity in the Mountains

One of Blue Ridge’s most magical traditions is back at Serenity in the Mountains: The Tour of Trees! Come see as the spa is all aglow from the lights of over 200 Christmas trees. Tour of Trees runs Sunday, November 16th and Sunday, November 23rd. Tickets are $20 person and proceeds help to raise money for the Fannin County Shop with a Cop program.

Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association will have a variety of art and handcrafted items for sale, all created from their member artists. Find everything you need for the holiday season Tuesday-Sunday, November 16th – December 20th!


Glow In The Dark Sporting Clays

November 19th 

Location: Noontootla Creek Farms

Come on down to Noontootla Creek Farms for some after hours fun! You’ll arrive at 7:30 to a delicious dinner at the Mill then head out to the pavilion for glow in the dark sporting clay games. The winner will even take home a prize! Your $100 reservation includes dinner and 50 clays per person. Don’t miss out on this fun clay shooting experience!


Mistletoe Market Arts & Crafts Show

November 21st-November 23rd    

Location: First United Methodist Church of Union County

Pick up Christmas gifts and goodies from local arts and crafts vendors at Mistletoe Market! There will be over 50 vendors in attendance selling their beautiful handmade creations.  Join in the fun 10am-4pm on Friday and Saturday. Admission is $3 a person and children 12 & under are free!


Blue Ridge on Ice

November 21st -November 30th 

Location: Blue Ridge Farmers Market

Have some family friendly winter fun with ice skating at the Farmer’s Market! This fun new outdoor ice skating rink is set up at the Blue Ridge Farmers Market, next to the Swan Drive In, on select dates now through January 6th. For just $15 you can skate to your heart’s content! After your skate, warm up with hot cocoa and other sweet treats from the concessions stand.


Old World & New World Wine Tasting

November 22nd

Location: Old Toccoa Farm

Enjoy a unique tasting experience that highlights the dynamic contrast between Old World and New World wines at Old Toccoa Farm. Each pour will be thoughtfully paired with small bites designed to enhance the flavors and deepen your appreciation for the influence of geography, climate, and winemaking tradition. Wine tasting tickets are $45 per person. 


The Marshall Tucker Band

November 22nd

Location: Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds

Southern rock is coming to the mountains with a performance from The Marshall Tucker Band at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds! You know and love the band from their hit songs like “Heard It in a Love Song,” “Can't You See,” “Fire on the Mountain,” Long Hard Ride,” and “Ramblin,'” And joining the Marshall Tucker Band at the Fairgrounds will be special guest, Hunter Flynn. Tickets for the November 22nd concert are $40+ handling.


Blue Ridge Turkey Trot

November 27th 

Location: Downtown Blue Ridge City Park

Get your workout in Thanksgiving morning to prep you for all those carbs at holiday dinner! Come on out for the Blue Ridge Turkey Trot! Walkers & runners welcome! Registration begins at 7am and the race starts at 8am; and don’t worry you’ll have plenty of time to make it back for your Thanksgiving feast!


Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble

November 27th 

Location: Meeks Park

Come on our for the Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble- a family fu 5K race! The race starts at 8:30am and feel free to walk or run the race. Tickets are $25 and first 50 there get a turkey hat! All the proceeds go towards “Beyond the Vineyard Program” to benefit youth programs in Union County.  


Thanksgiving Dinner Open Table

November 27th

Location: Fannin County High School

Don’t have a Thanksgiving meal planned? No problem, the Good Samaritans of Fannin County will take care of you! Head to Fannin County High School’s cafeteria on Thanksgiving from 12pm-4pm for good food & fellowship. They’ll be offering smoked turkey with all the fixin’s and takeout meals are available as well. 


Mountain Country Christmas Lights

November 27th-November 30th 

Location: Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds

See the Christmas lights reflecting off the waters of Lake Chatuge at the Georgia Mountain Fair’s Mountain Country Christmas Lights! There will be Christmas music, arts and craft vendors, holiday food, hot chocolate, magic shows, pictures with Santa, and beautiful lights around the grounds. The event runs every Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 6pm-9pm from November 27 - December 6th and then nightly December 11th thru December 23rd.


Black Friday “Sip and Shop”

November 28th 

Location: Paradise Hills

Black Friday shop while drinking a refreshing glass of wine! Paradise Hills will be having great deals on wine and gifts, you won’t want to miss it!


Light Up McCaysville

November 28th

Location: McCaysville

Celebrate the holiday season in McCaysville for their light up celebration! There will be shopping, dining, pictures with Santa, and holiday cheer all along the river. The fun starts at 5pm and the tree lighting is at sunset!


Merry Mountain Town

November 28th

Location: Downtown Ellijay

Kick off the holiday season in Ellijay! Downtown Ellijay will be transformed into a festive wonderland with decorated storefronts, unique vendors, delicious seasonal treats, a dazzling holiday parade, photos with Santa, and the lighting of the great tree. All the fun kicks off at noon and runs till 7pm. 


Light Up Blue Ridge Festivities 

November 28th-November 29th 

Location: Downtown Blue Ridge GA

On Friday Downtown Blue Ridge will have a special Blue Friday event where there will be store discounts, food vendors, strolling entertainment, and Christmas cheer! The Gingerbread Village will also open that afternoon as well at The Arts Center. Then on Saturday the real fun begins! Santa will be in town ready to take photos with kids in the gazebo from 12pm-4:15pm. And downtown will be filled with food vendors, strolling Christmas entertainment, and even more Christmas cheer! Then at 5:30pm the Christmas Parade starts at the corner of East Main street and Church street. And the great tree will be lit right after the parade at 7pm! It’s going to be a wonderful weekend of holiday fun!


Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley 

November 28th-November 30th

Location: Blue Ridge Community Theater

Celebrate the start of the holiday season with a festive show at Blue Ridge Community Theater! The show takes place 2 years after the events of Jane Austen's classic novel "Pride and Prejudice" and follows the bookish middle sister, Mary. When the family gathers for Christmas at Pemberley, an unexpected guest sparks Mary’s hopes for independence, an intellectual match, and possibly even love.  Shows are Thursdays – Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.  The show runs November 28th-December 21st.  Please call the box office at 706-632-9191 for tickets.

Town's County Sheriff's Office Christmas Parade

Location: Downtown Hiawassee

Come on out for the Town's County Sheriff's Office Christmas Parade! The parade will leave the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds at 4pm and make it's way to downtown Hiawassee. Enjoy this festive start to the holiday season in Towns County!
