October 10th & October 11th
Location: Downtown Blue Ridge
One of Blue Ridge’s most favorite events is back this fall on October 10th & 11th for Fall Arts in the Park. Take in beautiful art, great live musical performances, and delicious food. Plus, you’ll get a chance to admire the stunning and colorful fall trees that surround Downtown Blue Ridge and Veterans Memorial Park. Adults are $5 a person and children 12 & under are free!
October 16th-October 18th
Location: All Around Blue Ridge
See some of the most spectacular homes in North Georgia showcased at this great annual event! Admire these incredible homes and get an idea for your dream mountain home October 16th thru October 18th.
October 17th
Location: Downtown Blue Ridge City Park
Formally known as Paws in the Park, the Humane Society of Blue Ridge will be hosting Pawsfest on Saturday, October 17th in Downtown Blue Ridge City Park! There will be pet vendors, food trucks, a pet parade, costume contest, pet photos, blessing of the animals, live music, and so much more! Tickets are $5 a person and children 12 & under are free!
Halloween Safe Zone Trick or Treat
October 31st
Location: Downtown Blue Ridge
Halloween fun awaits the kiddos with trick treating in Downtown Blue Ridge on Halloween night! Not only will there be lots of candy but there will also be a costume contest and a pet costume contest for cats & dogs! The fun starts at 4pm!

Location: The Swan Drive In
On Saturday, October 31st the Swan Drive In will be hosting a special Trunk or Treat event. The event will feature all kinds of family fun like bounce houses, hayrides, kids games, treats, costume contests, and more. Come on out for this fun, free Halloween event!

Location: Ellijay Lions Club Fairgrounds
Ellijay is the Apple Capital of Georgia, so fall brings around their amazing annual Georgia Apple Festival! With over 250+ vendors, live music, demonstrations and so much more it’s sure to be a blast! Visit the Ellijay Lions Club Fairgrounds on weekends October 10th & 11th and October 17th & 18th to have an ‘apple’lachian good time! Admission is $10 a person.

Location: Downtown Ellijay
Happening at the same time in Ellijay is the Georgia Apple Festival’s sister festival, the Apple Arts Festival. This festival hosts a variety of food & craft vendors in Downtown Ellijay and is completely free! You can even bring along your pup for all the fun!
October 3rd & 4th
Location: Lee Newton Park
This year Jasper, Georgia, just a short drive from Ellijay, celebrates its 44th Annual Georgia Marble Festival! Join in the fun October 3rd & 4th where there will be live music, a kids zone, fun runs, live demonstrations of marble & granite sculpting, delicious food, arts & crafts, a parade, and so much more! The event will take place at Lee Newton Park on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am-6pm and Sunday, October 4th from 10am-4pm.
October 30th
Location: Roo Mountain Vineyards
Roo Mountain Vineyards has no shortage of live music, fall events, and Halloween activities this month but it all comes to a head on Friday, October 30th with their Halloween Dance Party! There will be delicious food & drinks, a dance floor and live DJ, and a costume contest. Tickets are $15 a person, with all proceeds benefiting the local Food Pantry.
October 31st
Location: Ellijay River Park
Every year the town of Ellijay puts on a 5K race in memory of Saydee and raises money for the SayStrong Foundation. This year's event features Halloween thrills, family fun, yummy food & treats, and a DJ! And for the running portion there will be a 5K run, a 1 mile fun run, a Tot Trot for the little ones, and even a ghost runner option. Come on out to Ellijay River Park on Halloween morning from 9am-11am for all the fun!

Get ready for a night of family fun at Downtown Blairsville's Family Glow Night on October 3rd! Downtown Blairsville will be aglow with fun games and family fun entertainment like glow in the dark putt-putt, light up cornhole, music and djs, food trucks & tasty treats, glow sticks, and so much more! Admission is FREE and the event runs in Downtown Blairsville from 7pm to 9:30pm.
October 10th-October 18th
Location: Meeks Park
Celebrate the art of sorghum syrup making in Blairsville! Join in the fun at Meeks Park October 10th & 11th and October 17th & 18th. The fun starts October 10th at 9am with the kickoff parade and then there will be crafters, educational demonstrations, bluegrass music and more on both weekends!
October 30th
Location: Meeks Park
Come on out to Meeks Park the night before Halloween for candy handouts from local businesses! Kids can trick or treat in this fun, safe environment from 4pm-7pm!
October 31st
Location: Paradise Hills Winery
Get ready to party at Paradise Hills adult costume party! Come dressed in your costumes and receive a free wine tasting. And bring in a carved pumpkin for the chance to win some awesome prizes. There will also be live music so you can “boo”gie it up on the dance floor! The fun kicks off Halloween at 11am.
Vogel State Park Fall Festival
October 31st
Location: Vogel State Park
Head to the stunning Vogel State Park this fall for beautiful scenery and a fun Fall Festival on October 31st! There will be food & craft vendors, hayrides, a duck race, live music, storytelling, and even trick or treating at this year's Festival! The fun runs on Halloween from 9:30am-8:00pm at Vogel State Park. A $10 daily park pass or an annual park pass is required for entry.

Come on down to Downtown Hiawassee the first Friday of every month May-October for the Hiawassee Night Market. The market features a variety of artisan vendors, live music, and food trucks. And this month's theme is All Things Fall! What are you waiting for? Join us in Downtown Hiawassee on Friday, October 3rd from 5pm-9pm for all the fun.
Georgia Mountain Fall Festival
October 9th-October 17th
Location: Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds
Every fall in Hiawassee the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival comes to town! This year’s Fall Fest takes place at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds on October 9th-11th & October 15th-17th. There will be carnival rides, craft vendors, a stunt show, delicious food, musical performances, cowboys, educational demonstrations, and so much more!
Appalachian Brew & Music Festival
October 24th

The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds puts on the Appalachian Brew and Music Festival every year in the fall. This awesome event takes place October 24th and you can expect great craft brews from local breweries, delicious food from local vendors, and lots of Americana and Bluegrass music!
North Mt. Zion's 4th Annual Fall Festival

Location: Downtown Hiawassee Square
Fall fun awaits in Downtown Hiawassee for North Mt. Zion’s 4th Annual Fall Festival! The event will include 40+ vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, a chili cook-off, bake sale & free kids activities. All the fun runs 10am-4pm. Admission is FREE!
October 29th- October 31st
Location: Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds
Hiawassee has its own Halloween fun at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds! There will be a haunted village set up in the Pioneer Village on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, and trick or treating fun on the 30th. It’s going to be a spooktacular week at the Fairgrounds!

Enjoy a spooktacular train ride with Blue Ridge Scenic Railway on Halloween night! The train will journey from Blue Ridge to the Copper Basin for their Halloween festivities. Along the way, the crew will be all decked out in their best costumes and passengers will vote for their favorite. The crew will also be passing out candy to the kiddos and keeping the Halloween spirit high on your journey to the Copper Basin! Seats are limited for this one night only event so make sure to reserve your spot early!

The Indian Summer Festival is a fun fall festival that takes place every October at Georgia’s smallest public school. There will be vendors selling pottery, quilts, jewelry, homemade goods, leather crafts, furniture and so much more; as well as live music and food vendors. This year’s event takes place October 3rd & 4th, don’t miss out!

Celebrate Dahlonega’s 1828 discovery of gold at Gold Rush Days Festival, October 17th & October 18th in downtown Dahlonega. Take in 200+ food and craft vendors all weekend long! This HUGE event always features amazing craftsmen, fantastic musicians, and has been voted as one of the Top 20 Events in the southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society.
Mountain Moonshine Festival & Car Show
October 23rd-October 25th
Location: Georgia Racing Hall of Fame
If you love moonshine and cars then Dawsonville’s 59th Annual Mountain Moonshine Festival & Car Show is for you! Happening at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame October 23rd-25th there will be hundreds of vintage cars, live music, great food & drinks, a Moonshine Run, and over 300+ vendors! You can even meet legendary race car drivers at this awesome event that is one of the largest car shows in the Eastern U.S.!
