Description
There’s so much to love about Aska Creek-N-View, but as its name indicates, its best assets are both auditory and visual: the sound of the rushing creek below and the incredible mountain vistas that will take your breath away. Perched on a hilltop acre in the Aska Adventure Area, it’s a convenient nine miles from downtown Blue Ridge but miles away from the traffic, obligations, and stresses of everyday life.

With two furnished screened-in porches, the cabin is made for outdoor living, so plan to grab a drink, light the wood-burning fireplace, and settle into a rocker, glider, the comfy daybed or the four-person hot tub as you take in the glorious sunset and enjoy your favorite grilled fare alfresco.

The view is just as spectacular from inside, thanks to the enormous wall of glass on the main level that stretches skyward from the hardwood floor to the vaulted ceiling. This inviting open space features a comfortable couch and chairs, a stacked stone gas fireplace, a 50” smart TV, and an animal-themed decor that mixes modern and rustic in a pleasing, harmonious way.

The spacious kitchen is outfitted with wood cabinetry, black granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, electric stove, and dishwasher, a coffeemaker, crockpot and a breakfast bar with two stools. Sit at the six-seat dining table and you’ll see a bear outside the window, but there’s no need to fear. That’s Hirschel, the hand-carved ursine, inherited from the cabin’s previous owners.

Downstairs in the game room, you can play shuffleboard, board games, or any of the 60 built-in classic games on the custom arcade-style video game machine, or relax in front of the fireplace to watch the 50” Smart TV. One of the three bedrooms is also on this level off the game room, with a pair of queen beds, a 20” TV, and a separate bath with tub and shower.

Both the main and upper floor master bedrooms feature king beds, 43” TVs, and outside access through French doors. The upstairs master has its own screened balcony, hand-carved Amish furniture, and a private bath, and the main level master’s bath is separate with a private entrance. All three bathrooms have granite counters and tub/shower combos.

When you want to get out and explore, you’ll find many fantastic spots to dine, drink, shop and play a short distance away. Great hiking trails, the Toccoa River Restaurant and Fall Branch Falls are within a mile of the cabin. Or take the scenic, easy drive to downtown Blue Ridge, where you can dine at Chester’s and Black Sheep, buy herbs and shop for oils at Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company and trinkets and vintage candies at Huck’s General Store. For beer drinkers, there’s Fannin Brewing Company and Grumpy Old Men Brewing, both downtown. Wine enthusiasts can sample the fruit of the vine at Bear Claw, also downtown, or Serenberry Vineyards in Morganton.

Aska Creek-N-View, provides guests with WiFi, DISH Network, laundry facilities, and ceiling fans throughout the cabin. Choose it for your vacation and your family will be rewarded with the simple pleasures of peace and quiet, nature’s beauty and priceless bonding time with loved ones that you’ll cherish for years to come.

This home was very comfortable for two families with kids. Loved the screened in porch with fireplace. Kids loved having their own space downstairs.

This house was absolutely beautiful. Our favorite part of the house was the large screened in porch with wood burning fireplace. It was so nice to spend time out there watching the rain. We also loved the basement game room. This was a family trip with 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 4 kids, so the 3 bedrooms were perfect for us.

Not many cabins give you a view of the mountains and a view/ sound of a creek. It was beautiful. We also appreciated the easy drive via a paved road all the way up to the cabin. We love the Aska area. This cabin is located near everything we enjoy. The layout of the cabin is perfect. All three bedrooms are large and we loved the screened patio. It has a wood fireplace and a great view. We spent a lot of time out there. The shuffleboard and video game is a nice touch. We would definitely come back.

This home had absolutely everything you needed to feel like you were at home. The house was clean and every detail down to the folding of the towels on the beds was perfect.

Beautiful view. Kept a family of 6 (4 kids aged 8-18) occupied. Lots of activities around.

This is our third time visiting Blue Ridge and I’m so happy we found Aska Creek-n-View. It was by far the nicest place we stayed. The views were breathtaking. We loved eating breakfast every morning on the screened in porch. We were traveling with two families so the bedroom setup was perfect. The kids all shared the bedroom downstairs and the adults got the two masters upstairs. The kids loved the video games and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. Our kids loved the cabin so much they were begging us not to leave. We will definitely be booking this cabin again!

We booked this cabin for a girls weekend. There were six of us. Upon arriving at the cabin after driving through the beautiful countryside, I was easily able to access the cabin using the instructions I received from the staff. The cabin was clean and smelled of fresh wood. The furnishings and atmosphere were exactly as pictured on the website photos. In the kitchen, I found everything I needed to make meals during our stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find an adequate supply of dish soap and dishwasher tablets. There was plenty of space to store groceries in the refrigerator and cabinets. We chose this cabin for to the beds and bedrooms. Since there were six of us, we had two girls in each of the two king bedrooms and two in the queen beds downstairs (one in each bed). The master bedroom is on the top floor a second king bedroom on the main floor and the queen bedroom downstairs. A word of caution, the stairs leading down to the game room are steep, so if you're drinking, hold on to the railing! We found the game room to be very cozy! There is a large TV and a huge sectional that we all layer in to watch a movie one night. The downstairs bedroom is very cool and cavelike. Super cozy! There is a full bathroom and laundry room downstairs. The hot tub was nice and we enjoyed using it. My favorite part of the cabin though, was the large screened porch off the living room. This porch has an amazing view of the mountains and trees. You can see down to the creek and the sound of the creek is very relaxing. It was great having meals out on the porch (there is a dining table and chairs). There is a very comfortable day bed with lots of pillows that a couple of the girls actually napped on. We had a fire in the wood burning fireplace and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while relaxing on this gorgeous porch. We saw fireflies at dusk and a full moon rising at night. This cabin is beautiful and we will definitely be back.

Perfect location. Very quiet, private, and secluded, but 5 minutes to restaurant and waterfall,10 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. The screened porch along the back was the best feature. Spent most of our time there during our stay. It was so comfortable and relaxing. Could hear the creek the entire time. The cabin was very clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. 3rd time renting thru EBR. This was by far the best cabin and location.

The porches were super-especially the master bedroom porch. The cabin was appointed with very comfortable and eye appealing furniture in the living area. The mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and easily handled cooking full meals. Although, we didn't use the fireplaces they are an asset.

I hope other families will enjoy this rental as much as my family did. I decided to take a road trip with my girls for Spring Break. Off to the mountains we would go for some quality family time. The cabin location is absolutely perfect. We were within miles of great restaurants, Downtown area and beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls. The sound of the running water from the creek was an amazing added bonus while watching the sunset or reading a book. The owners provide enetertainment leaving board games, an amazing arcade unit that offers mutiple games to choose from and shuffle board. The basement which provides privacy by having a bedroom closed off to the entertainment room is the best spot in the cabin. Most importantly, this place was spotless. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place to stay on their next trip to the mountains as I promise you will not be disappointed.

I had a great time at Aska Creek-N-View!  It has an amazing view from the porch with comfortable seating. I loved being able to play table shuffleboard and the arcade games. After a long day of exploring it was a huge bonus to be able to relax in the hot tub. It has such a wonderful cabin feel with 3 comfortable and private rooms making me not want to leave my bed. The cabin is close to several hiking trails and near downtown blue ridge. There are so many activities to do around the cabin and at the same time has the wonderful mountain isolation. Overall, it is an amazing cabin with great views and vibes and I would 11/10 recommend.
